PD: Suspected impairment after a wrong-way collision in Phoenix | Arizona News

PHOENIX (3TV / CBS5) – A woman was injured after police caused a head-on collision with a wrong-way driver on Sunday evening. Officers were called around 8:15 p.m. after a silver sedan in the south lanes of Galvin Parkway heading north collided with a black Chevy Suburban SUV near McDowell Road.

A passenger in the Chevy Suburban told the Arizona family there were 5 people in it and they were driving to the airport when the accident occurred. A Chevy passenger was rushed to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to Phoenix fire. The emergency services examine the driver of the silver limousine for possible impairments.
