Phoenix Rising FC announced on Thursday that its new apparel sponsor will be Adidas.

The deal will last six years until the 2026 USL championship season, which will conclude after the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the US, Mexico and Canada.

PRFC was previously at Macron from 2018 to 2020.

“If you switch to Adidas as a football club or become an Adidas organization and send you equipment, it usually fits and feels perfect immediately,” said manager Rick Schantz. “When I was a player, I was an Adidas type. … I have nothing against the very uncomplicated, clean professional work. It’s something I think is spicy. I like this historical value.

“But what I hear from the players, the material and the fit were fantastic. The shorts are a little shorter than Macron’s. “

As the new equipment and equipment supplier of Phoenix Rising, Adidas will equip all players, coaches, employees and youth players.

The 2021 game day kit release will be announced prior to the start of the 2021 USL championship season around May 1.

Adidas is the official sponsor of the FIFA World Cup and provider of the match ball for the tournament.

In addition to MLS, the three stripes are equipment suppliers for the world giants Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus as well as for the German and Argentine national teams.

“The 2021 season will be an exciting year for Phoenix Rising,” said GM Bobby Dulle in a press release. “Partnering with the world’s leading soccer brand will help us improve our presence in the community and expand the game at the youth and academy levels in Arizona.”
