Phoenix Schools Launch New Academic Programs Through Project Lead The Way | education
PHOENIX – High school graduates in the Phoenix Central School District will be able to gain transformative teaching and learning experiences via Project Lead The Way (PLTW) starting next fall.
“PLTW has a long history of empowering students to complete their education through active, hands-on, real-world learning,” said Mike Foley, PCSD director of data and educational technology. “We pride ourselves on giving our students the opportunity to think differently, not just become users of the technology that surrounds them.”
Potential students, current eighth graders, are currently being recruited for the innovative engineering or computer science program. Eighth grade students or parents seeking additional information can complete a Student Interest Form at phoenixcsd.org/pltw.
