Police are investigating an apparent murder-suicide on Tucson’s east side

TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) – The Tucson Police Department is investigating an apparent homicide-suicide east of the city.

A 911 caller requested a social check for residents of a residence in the 2400 block of South Rose Peak near Golf Links and Pantano Roads around 12:45 p.m. Sunday, February 6.

Officers found a man and woman with obvious signs of gunshot wounds in a vehicle parked outside the home.

Karen Parish, 73, and Wayne Hayes, 75, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Details are limited, but detectives have determined this is an isolated case and no suspects are being sought.
