Police pull an unconscious man out of a burning car in Phoenix

PHOENIX – – Firefighters say a man is in critical condition after being pulled out of a burning car Phoenix Police officer.
According to the Phoenix Fire Department, police arrived in a single vehicle accident near 32nd Street and Osborn on March 25 and found an unconscious man in his forties in the car.
The officer who pulled the man out of the burning vehicle began CPR before firefighters arrived on the scene.
After arriving at the scene, the firefighters took care of the victim and put out the fire in the car.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
The officer who pulled the man out of the car suffered minor injuries and was also hospitalized.
Phoenix Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
