Police Wanted Man Who Robbed AutoZone in West Phoenix | Arizona News
PHOENIX (3TV / CBS 5) – Police are seeking help from the public in finding a man who robbed an AutoZone in West Phoenix nearly five months ago. Police say a young man went to the Indian School hardware store near 43rd Avenue at around 8:20 p.m. on December 23 and pretended to be a customer. He grabbed an item and went to the checkout as if buying it. Instead, the police said he pretended to have a gun and told the clerk he was armed. He took the goods without paying and ran away.
The suspect is described as an 18- to 25-year-old Spanish man, roughly 5 feet 4 to 5 feet 6 inches tall, thinly built, and was last seen in a black hooded jacket with a white design on the front and arms and baggy gray sweatpants, black Slides, white socks and a blue mask.
