Prescott Beats Flagstaff, 68-56, In A Hard-Fought Game At Flagstaff High School Friday Night – Great Circle Media of Arizona

Sophomore Uriah Tennette scored 16 of his 22 points in the second half to lead the Prescott Badgers to a 68-56 win over the Flagstaff Eagles on Flagstaff Friday night. Jake Hilton added 21 points, including a pair of highlight dunks in the win for the Badgers. Sophomore center Zane Gaul added 14. The Eagles got a fantastic effort by junior guard Connor O’Brien-Piubeni. He led all scorers with 27 points, including four three-pointers. Ben Janicek added ten points in the loss. Prescott improves to 4-1 in the Grand Canyon Region, while Flagstaff falls to 1-4. The Badgers are back in action Tuesday night at home against Mingus. Flagstaff will take on Coconino Tuesday night at War Memorial Gymnasium at Flagstaff High School. On the girls side Flagstaff beat Prescott on the road 71-43 Friday night.
