Pride Month: Arizona Diamondbacks host LGBTQ + Pride Night
PHOENIX, AZ – The Arizona Diamondbacks are partnering with local LGBTQ + groups to celebrate Pride Month on June 11th.
The team will host their annual Pride Night on June 11th, when the D-Backs receive the Los Angeles Angels at Chase Field.
For $ 30, attendees can get a Pride Ticket Package that includes a rainbow-themed D-Backs hat and a ticket to the lower-level ball game.
In addition, D-backs Danielle Cortez, a live transgender content creator for Major League Baseball, will give Billy Bean, MLB vice president of Social Responsibility and Inclusion, the ceremonial first pitch, the team said.
The D-Backs will also host the Phoenix Gay Men’s Chorus, which will perform the national anthem, while the Phoenix-based group One Community will be at the game so fans can sign the group’s promise of unity to work for integration advocating and protecting everyone, including members of the LGBTQ + community.
