Robert G. Kvien died on June 2, 2021 at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND, surrounded by his loving family.

Robert Glen Kvien was born on October 9, 1938 in a log cabin in Pinecreek, MN, to Myrtle (Heskin) and Olaf E. Kvien. He attended the school in Pinecreek. He and Lorraine (Wiskow) were married on July 12, 1958 in Greenbush, MN. At a young age Robert worked in the woods at Northwest Angle with his pulp-throwing father. He was a heavy equipment operator, employee at Texaco, Northstar, K&S Sports Center partner and diesel mechanic at Roseau Diesel.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, working on projects, his church, listening to country music, and developing various projects.

He will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather and friend to everyone he met. He had an amazing ability to fix anything. He was kind, compassionate, and shared his many talents. Blessed be his memory.

He is survived by his wife Lorraine von Roseau; Children, Pamela (Danny) Howell from Badger, Randy (Sue) from Roseau, Rick (Pauline) from Owatonna, MN and Paula (Rob) Wokasch from Roseau; Grandsons, Talysia, Justin, Kylee and Nathan, step-grandsons, Troy, Tony, Trevor and Heather; Great-grandchildren, Andrew, Briggs and Easton. Step-great-grandchildren, Halle, Brendon, Beck, Boden, Story, Lena and Kinni. Siblings, Mary Storo, Sally (Gordon) Erickson, and Jackie (Karolyn) Kvien. His parents preceded him in death; Siblings, Marilyn, Donald, Caroline and Audrey.

The funeral will take place on Sunday, June 6th, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Helgeson Funeral Home in Roseau. The visit takes place one hour in advance. The funeral will take place in Hope Cemetery, followed by a reception / picnic in Roseau City Park. Online guest book at:
