To them, the idea of returning to Utah, where they didn’t feel like they had goals on their backs, seemed ideal.
She even got the impression that Kody agreed with her.
However, Kody had limited enthusiasm for the idea.
Ultimately, he made it very clear to the camera that he didn’t expect Christine to convince anyone to go back.
And he praised her new home in Flagstaff, Arizona.
He wasn’t the only one.
Janelle stated that this life they build in Flagstaff was what she always wanted.
And for Meri, she felt she didn’t want to return after being “kicked” out of Utah.
Robyn had one particular concern – her children.
She was concerned about the impact of another major move on her children.
The family’s reality TV fame, in particular, can make it difficult for their children to adjust to a new school.
Christine, meanwhile, was worried about her father’s health.
She wants to be closer to him in Utah.
And she felt like the unusual one because she wanted to move.
Robyn took to Twitter after the finale aired to express her condolences for Christine.
“I was quite surprised and shocked that Christine suggested moving to Utah,” she admitted.
Robyn added, “I feel so bad that she was so upset that everyone wasn’t ready to move.”
“My heart goes out to her,” said Robyn.
Her tweet concluded, “I really understand the desire.”
The responses to Robyn’s tweet weren’t exactly sympathetic.
The review, centered on Robyn, included a reminder of Robyn’s desire to move to Flagstaff in the first place.
Remember, your kids were about to start college in Arizona.
The move wasn’t entirely in Robyn’s favor, but that was clearly a consideration.
After all, Robyn isn’t the only one with kids.
The family uprooted and moved, which worked well for Robyn.
Seeing that Robyn wasn’t ready to uproot for it, fans shouted out and accused her of hypocrisy.
Obviously, Robyn wasn’t the only dissident.
The whole problem with this conflict was that all but Christine didn’t want to move.
But many fans found that Robyn was the most hypocritical.
Of course, fans also had a lot to say about Kody, who they considered two-sided.
At least Christine seemed completely surprised when he opposed the move.
From their point of view, he pretended they hadn’t even discussed it before.
The fact is that this is a family.
Monogamous couples disagree about where and when to move sometimes and need to communicate.
Understandably, this is more difficult when there are five people in your marriage, not two.
