PHOENIX – It was a tough road for some drivers on the morning of August 6th as crews worked to clean up several accidents along the Valley Freeways.
An overturned garbage truck blocked several lanes from traffic along the highway Loop 202 Santan in Gilbert.
According to the Arizona Department of Transportation, the rollover accident occurred near the Val Vista Drive exit.
After several hours of clean-up work, all lanes were released again.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety says the injuries are minor.

The crews also cleaned up a three-vehicle accident involving a cement truck that rolled over along north loop 101 on McKellips Road.
“A concrete truck drifted to the right, another vehicle collided before it hit a barrier, then crossed all lanes and then overturned,” said DPS. “A third vehicle hit the concrete truck.”
The driver of the concrete truck was hospitalized with minor injuries along with the driver of the third vehicle.
The rolled over truck blocked the HOV and left the lane in both directions.
