Several Inches Of Rain Has Fallen On The Schultz Pipeline Burn Area Since The Monsoon Season Began – KAFF News – Flagstaff

Over five inches of rain has fallen on the Schultz Pipeline burn area, and on the West Pipeline area, since the Monsoon season began. The National Weather Service says between June 15th through July 31st, ten-and-a-half inches of rain fell in the Timberline area and between seven-and-eight inches of rain fell on the burn scar above Wupatki Trails. Over six inches of rain fell in the Government Tank area and into Doney Park. On the west side, the Fort Valley area has seen between six-and-eight inches of rain and nearly six-inches has fallen in the Dry Lake Hills area. Nearly four inches of rain has fallen at the Flagstaff Airport, Bellemont has seen just over seven-inches, and Williams has seen four-and-a-half inches of rain thus far. All areas are above normal for this time of year. An increased chance of Monsoon storms is expected Thursday through at least the early part of next week.
