ShackStream: Indie-licious makes the cover in Above the Fold

Video Game News Site Shacknews Is Making The News In Video Games? It’s just crazy enough to be indie-licious this week.

When a video game news site plays a video game to create news, does the universe collapse? Does it fold up like a tortilla and develop into a dimension that we cannot feel? We don’t know, but we’ll find out when we jump into Above the Fold newspaper simulation video game on this week’s indie-licious.

Above the Fold comes to us from former Forza producer and Xbox / Valve developer Rasmus Rasmussen. Above the Fold is available for Early Access on Steam and was recently updated. It has a wealth of content, storylines, and achievements to help refine the game. In this business sim, you run a news agency and it is your job to figure out the best way to sell the paper and which shovels to follow. Fortunately, I happen to be the news editor at Shacknews, so I expect this to be easy for me and absolutely no problems.

If you knock aside on wood, you can see Above the Fold in action on the Shacknews Twitch channel at 1:30 p.m. (PT / 4:30 p.m. ET), where we play the latest and greatest indie-licious every Monday on Indie-licious See games.

As always, we’d like to thank everyone who likes Indie-licious and ShackStream productions. Your regular support and commitment continue to make these projects worthwhile. If you want to be involved in keeping things like indie-licious going, be sure to follow the Shacknews Twitch channel and sign up if you’re feeling particularly generous. Don’t forget that you can link an Amazon Prime account to your Twitch account and receive a free Twitch subscription every month through Prime Gaming. We know a pretty good news agency that could use these Amazon jokers.

Speaking of the news, am I good enough to do the job I do regularly, but for fun? We’ll find out in a moment. Come see how a Shacknews news editor handles the news in a video game as we go live with Above the Fold soon!
