SoNA will again perform under the direction of SoNA Music Director, Maestro Paul Haas.

“Sibelius’s 2nd Symphony is one of my favorite pieces for conducting and listening. It’s a fresh, raw, and powerful beauty – one that changes me every time I hear it, ”Haas said in a press release about the upcoming performance. “Marquez ‘Danzón No. 2 is an iconic piece of music that is widely appreciated in Mexico, hardly anyone in the USA knows it. wW hope that changes. This work is a fantastic ride through the Mexican world of sound and absolutely exciting to hear and experience. “

Haas said the audience attending next month will be a pleasure.

“I am fortunate to have Heather Schmidt as a friend and colleague, and I know that our audience will love her stage presence and her amazing piano concerto,” he said.
