PINETOP / LAKESIDE – Most Amazing Summer Literacy Program On The Mountain Begins as Pinetop Lakeside Public Library has planned a nine-week educational adventure flash for kids and teens of all ages.
Tails and Tales is the theme of this year’s summer reading program and they have partnered extensively with generous local sponsors. Wait till you see the prices!
The kick-off event for Tails and Tales will take place on Friday, May 14th, from 1pm to 6pm in the library. The first 100 teenagers (under 18) who sign up will get a free slice of pizza and a chance to see the drawings we make that day.
They have campership for the Humane Society’s Critter Camp and also work with the White Mountain Nature Center’s Discovery Learning Program and more!
The youth will complete the missions by reading and participating in learning activities throughout the summer. Missions receive badges and badges receive tickets to the final raffles at the end of the summer program. The more you read and do in our Tails and Tales Summer Literacy Challenge, the more chance you have of winning big!
