The driving force in a deadly accident in St. Petersburg reviews in accordance with the police

ST. PETERSBURG – According to the St. Petersburg police, the driver reported himself in an accident in which a pedestrian was killed early Saturday.

The incident occurred at around 1:15 a.m. on the 6400 block on 38th Avenue N near St. Petersburg General Hospital.

A male pedestrian was in the center lane of 38th Avenue N. Then a driver operating a white Ford truck on 38th Avenue N hit the man, police said, and drove on and turned right on 66th Street N. The truck was described as a Ford F-250 or F-350 Super Duty Truck.

A passerby saw the pedestrian on the street and called the police. The pedestrian’s name was not disclosed to the police because his family had not yet been informed of his death.

The police reported on Saturday around 3:30 p.m. that the pickup driver had appeared. The police did not disclose the driver’s name or say whether he will bring any charges. No further information about the incident was released.
