The Yuma brothers shot in the bar over the weekend

A man was shot dead and a woman was sent to hospital – News 11’s Crystal Jimenez reported

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) – A judge on Tuesday charged two brothers in connection with a shooting near a local bar that killed one person and injured a second.

Jerome Hall appeared before the judge first. The police accuse him of shooting Tyrone Hall. Despite their common surname, the victim and suspect are not related.

Tyrone died from his injuries. Family members tell Crystal Jimenez on News 11 that the second victim is Hall’s niece. She survived but had to be flown to a Phoenix hospital.

Jerome faces a number of first degree homicides and two numbers of serious attacks. He is being held without bail.

His brother Brandon is also charged in connection with the shooting. He is accused of obstructing law enforcement. Court documents accused Brandon of helping his brother after the shooting. He is being held on bail for $ 25,000.

Both brothers will return to court next Tuesday.
