I was dismayed to see the front page of LNP’s March 12th LancasterOnline with a story about the split of previous liar Donald Trump above the fold and prominently on page A4.
Under the crease on the front page and on page A9, however, was coverage of President Joe Biden’s first prime-time address, which focused on the anniversary of the COVID-19 pandemic, grim recognition of the health crisis-related losses, and encouraging vaccine news.
The newly elected president differed from his predecessor in that he focused his comments on us, not himself – while showing empathy and compassion.
The country turned the page. It’s time for LNP | LancasterOnline also do.
