Tucson Roadrunners Host NHL Draft Party
TUCSON (KVOA) – The Tucson Roadrunners, owned and operated by the Arizona Coyotes, have partnered with ESPN Tucson (104.9 FM, 1490 AM) for an NHL Draft on Friday, July 23rd at 4:30 p.m. CET Party at the Tucson Arena – 6:30 p.m.
The event is free to the public as the team invites everyone to bring bottled water for the Southern Arizona Community Food Bank. For every bottle of water donated, fans will receive a lottery ticket, with the winner receiving a Kachina jersey worn by the player, a signed Kachina stick and a signed cap.
Additionally, all fans attending the Draft Party will receive one ticket for a Kachina Prize Package, which includes: a stick signed by the team, a signed Kachina puck, and the top four available seats for the first Kachina Saturday game of the Year.
Fans will park in Lot A and enter the arena through the Roadrunners Season Ticket Member entrance on the northeast side of the arena.
Snacks and refreshments are offered free of charge as the NHL Draft is shown on the Tucson Arena video board. ESPN Tucson’s Spears and Ali will also broadcast their show live from the Tucson Arena during the party.
A “Select-A-Seat” 2021-2022 will also take place with marked seats that are available for fans to purchase for season ticket memberships. The event also marks the first day the team sells off half-season memberships for the upcoming season.
Game Worn jerseys from Coyotes Draft Picks will be auctioned all weekend for Roadrunners Give Back, a subsidiary of the Arizona Coyotes Foundation. The jerseys include Victor Soderstrom (first round, 11th overall in 2019), Barrett Hayton (first round selection, 5th overall in 2018) and Ivan Prosvetov (fourth round, 114th overall in 2018).
The team will also be hosting a sale of the team’s replica jerseys for more than $ 50 off the regular retail price.
There will be fun and games for others during the party.
