Two Show Low men arrested for armed robbery – Latest News

LINDEN – An attack by a 34-year-old resident resulted in serious but not life threatening injuries to that person during an armed robbery on Saturday February 13th by two Show Low men.

Details are currently withheld as the investigation is still a sensitive investigation, according to Tori Gorman, the Navajo County’s Sheriff’s Bureau Information Officer.

Gorman stated in a press release that provided some basic information about the armed robbery that 18-year-old Kyle Chea from Show Low and 22-year-old Samuel Mendoza from Show Low were arrested in connection with the serious attack (armed robbery) one 34 year old victim in the 1000 block of Crestview Drive in Linden on Saturday February 13th.

Chea has been charged with aggravated assault, armed robbery, possession / use of dangerous drugs and violating dangerous drug paraphernalia.

Mendoza has been charged with aggravated assault and armed robbery.

Because of these changes, both men are sent to Navajo County Jail in Holbrook to await a judge’s appearance.

“Due to the nature of the crime and the potential threat, the White Mountain Special Response Team (SRT) was called in to assist in the search for two locations. During the searches, evidence of the crime was seized along with dangerous drugs, ”Gorman said in a press release on Friday, February 19, about the armed robbery in Linden.
