LESTER, Virginia Elizabeth
With great sadness and gratitude for her shining example of a life well lived, we mourn our dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Virginia Elizabeth Lester, who died on Sunday, May 2nd, 2021. Born April 23, 1925 in St. Louis, Missouri, to James Thomas Flannigan and Alta Williams Flannigan. Virginia leaves behind eight children, Joseph (Debi), Thomas (Mila), Judith Gentry (Jim), Mary Barhydt (Ralph), Kathleen Neighbor (Scott), Richard (Bonnie), William and Martha Collity (Tim); 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. We know that Virginia is at the moment happily reunited with her dear husband James Wilson Lester, to whom she was married for nearly 56 years and who died in 2002. We realize how blessed we have been.
The tour takes place at 10:00 AM at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, 8090 Northern, Friday, May 7, 2021, 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Redemptorist Renewal Center (Parish of Our Lady of the Desert) am Saturday, May 8th, 2021.
