The news that Regé-Jean Page won’t be returning on season two of Bridgerton has got fans of the show upset, but Conan may have the perfect replacement for him: one of his writers, Skyler Higley.
Conan O’Brien had Higley on the show, ostensibly to discuss Pages’ exit, and Higley appeared in fancy dress, offering himself up as the new Duke of Hastings. However, O’Brien had his doubts and asked about his acting experience. “I already have about 15 seconds of screen experience and I’m already killing them,” he replied. Higley also boasted that his accent made him sound like “British Idris Elba” and insisted that he is “mature enough to bypass boobies”, revealing that his preferred tool of seduction would be a comedy pipe becomes.
