TUCSON, AZ (3TV / CBS 5 / KOLD) – Creepy moments for a woman and her dog trapped on a car in Tucson that was surrounded by rushing waters. Our sister station in Tucson, KOLD, shared the rescue video on their Facebook page.

At around 8 p.m. on Saturday, the woman and her canine companion were stuck on the roof of their car and urgently needed help.

The problem is that the crews were unable to walk to the vehicle because the water was rising too quickly. And a helicopter couldn’t reach them due to power lines in the area.

After several attempts to reach the stranded couple, the TFD crews were able to extend their ladder far enough to put on a life jacket and lifebuoy.

Rescue teams said the conditions for drivers in the area were extremely dangerous and that you should never enter a flooded area. “It’s not wise. A trailer truck wouldn’t get through there, a monster truck wouldn’t get through. I always worry that people will get through there because they want to save time. which she apparently had last night. “

(3/4) A helicopter came forward to help with the rescue, but power lines in the area prevented access. After several attempts to reach the victim, the TFD crews were able to extend their ladder far enough to provide the victim with a life jacket and lifebuoy. pic.twitter.com/V6YTiEiAdL
