Kody is the head of many households, but Redditors call him about his lack of foresight affecting Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn.
Kody Brown has earned quite a few fans since he decided to showcase his polygamous family in Sister Wives, but he seems to have come across more criticism than praise. As much as Kody claims that all decisions are made by the group and the women can overrule him, it is clear on the show that Kody is the head of the family and any woman who disagrees with him will be thrown under the bus. Redditors are now calling out Kody for the chaos his family has gotten into as a result of his decisions.
It was Kody’s decision to move the family from Las Vegas to Flagstaff, Arizona. When he broke the subject with the women, none of them were happy. Many of Kody’s wives still have school-age children and moving is especially tough because they have to change schools and make new friends. Unfortunately, Kody isn’t so interested in the well-being of his children as in getting what makes him happy. This usually harms Meri, Janelle, Christine, Robyn and their children.

A fan on Reddit started a thread called “Kody Fucked The Whole Family,” which discusses how Kody’s seemingly unplanned move to Flagstaff has hurt the entire Brown clan. “The man has 4 … wives and not a single person could convince him to slow down and maybe have a plan or concrete life situation?” Kody bought vacant land and then moved with his family before they even made plans to develop the land before their Vegas homes were sold, and before they had reliable apartments in Flagstaff, until their permanent homes were built.
Viewers find Kody’s lack of practicality or foresight annoying. The poorly planned move has created predictable problems for all of Kody’s wives. Another Redditor said Kody “downplayed all of the issues the women raised throughout the process, and then a second after the deal is closed, he says he’s waiting … and starts listing EVERY problem that does.” the women tried to speak to !!! ” A third fan added his own opinion, writing, “From what I understood in my own funny study of polygamy, the husband announces what he wants and expects the wives to make it happen. They are his worker bees. He doesn’t have to make an effort or worry about the logistics, he just has to appear to receive the praise. “
Even if Kody had houses built on the Coyote Pass property, that doesn’t mean the family can settle in the long term.
