Yavapai County Search And Rescue Help Find A Missing Flagstaff Boy In Sedona Friday – Great Circle Media of Arizona

Yavapai County Search and Rescue crews were called to find a nine-year-old Flagstaff boy that went missing in Sedona Friday. Officials say around 20 volunteers responded to the area of ​​Aerie Road off Boynton Pass Road at around 4 pm The child, his father and two siblings had went trail biking in the area when the boy became separated from the group. The location was a complex trail system between the Cockscomb and Cultural Park Trailhead. Through investigation and interviews with other people on the trails, deputies learned the boy had asked another person on the trail to point him toward the Cultural Park Trailhead, which was where the family had parked their vehicle. While rescue workers were gathering, the boy arrived at the trailhead, healthy and uninjured. The father and siblings were driven back to the trailhead by volunteers and reunited with the lost boy.
