Yuma City closed due to flooding

Regardless of the current weather

YUMA, Arizona (KYMA, KECY) – The city of Yuma announced Sunday afternoon that City Hall had severe water damage to parts of the facility. The city made it clear in a press release that it was NOT due to the recent thunderstorms.

Repair teams are currently making improvements. For security reasons, however, the town hall will remain closed until Thursday, August 5th.

All other departments are open and function as usual.

Although closed to the public, the town hall staff will continue to work for the good of the community. They encourage residents to submit city business deals online or by calling (928) 373-5000.
