The city’s July 4th fireworks spectacle returns to the city’s Ray Kroc Sports Complex for Independence Day.
The site is open on Sunday, July 4, 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in the complex on Avenue A and 36th Street.
The free event begins with a Color Guard presentation, followed by Gabriella Heinz of Miss Yuma County singing the national anthem. While waiting for the main event, visitors can enjoy music from a DJ and visit vendors selling snacks and drinks.
Mayor Doug Nicholls will greet visitors and give a countdown to the fireworks display, which is expected to start at 8:45 p.m.
Outside food and drinks are not permitted in the complex. Participants should not bring their own fireworks.
The ceremony returns to the Ray Kroc Complex after a year as a drive-up event due to COVID-19.
