“Someone said the COVID vaccine was a ticket to freedom.” It is freedom from this disease that has plagued all of humanity, causing tremendous death and suffering, ”shared Dr. Bharat Magu, Chief Medical Officer at YRMC, with. “As a healthcare provider, it saddens me to see preventable diseases and deaths every day. The number one priority for our healthcare providers, our patients, and our community at this time is fighting this virus. The only way to do this is with the COVID vaccine. “

Officials have even made it easier for the community to get their first dose. The vaccination clinic now accepts walk-ins. However, if you would like to make an appointment online, you can still do so here.

The clinic is open from Wednesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

YRMC said nearly 59,000 vaccinations have been given since the vaccination center opened.
