The Yuma County Public Works will hand out sandbags on Friday, September 9 from 8 am to 5 pm
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) – Yuma County will be giving out filled sandbags to the community starting from 8 am to 5 pm on Friday, September 9 at the Yuma County Public Works facility at 4343 S. Avenue 5 1/2 E.
Filled sandbags will be available to county residents starting at 8 am ending at 5 pm, residents are allowed a maximum of eight sandbags per vehicle.
There will be a flood watch in effect from September 9 at 8 am MST to September 11 at 12 am MST, according to the National Weather Service.
