Yuma double murder suspect faces judge

Trevon Wilhite, 28, is charged with two counts of first degree murder

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) – A Yuma man accused of murdering his girlfriend and two-year-old son is being held on a $ 1,000,000 cash bond.

Trevon Wilhite, 28, was formally charged with double first degree murder on Thursday afternoon. He is accused of killing 25-year-old Tamacia Wilder and her two-year-old son Roy.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) – The suspect in a double homicide case earlier this week is due to be formally indicted Thursday afternoon. Trevon Wilhite, 28, was arrested earlier this week for first degree murder and manipulation of evidence.

On Tuesday, the Yuma Police Department responded to a suicide call on S. Magnolia Ave., where the bodies of 25-year-old Tamacia Wilder and two-year-old Roy Wilder were found.

The police have confirmed that the cause of death was severe blunt violent trauma.

Wilder’s emotional mother spoke to KYMA earlier today.

“My daughter was so beautiful. Oh, she was so silly,” says Wilder’s mother, Tamecia Sadler.
