Construction work on the superstructure of the Reunion Rehabilitation Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona, was completed and officially reached the center of construction.

The three-story 4738 m2 hospital will include 48 private patient rooms, two therapy fitness studios with outdoor therapy areas and other unique amenities. After completion, the inpatient rehabilitation hospital will care for people with debilitating diseases such as strokes and brain injuries as well as other complex medical, neurological and orthopedic diseases.

“Our close cooperation with the developer, architect, operator and local subcontractors has contributed to the fact that construction is quick and safe. We are excited to see this important hospital take shape, ”said Bob Lemke, vice president of operations for construction management company and general contractor Adolfson & Peterson Construction (AP).

American Development and Investment (ADI) is the developer and Callaway Architecture is the designer. Texas-based Nobis Rehabilitation Partners will manage hospital operations with specially trained physical medicine and rehabilitation doctors and nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists and hospital support teams.

AP began construction in October 2020 and the hospital will open later this year.
