Children will have a lot of fun at the new APEX Sports Camps in Phoenix | North Phoenix
If your child is looking to have a great time socializing and a variety of ball sports, check out the brand new APEX Sports Camps facility, located in the recently remodeled building called “The Pyramid” next to Fry’s Marketplace on Tatum and Shea Blvd. in phoenix.
This 22,000-square-foot air-conditioned building has been specially redesigned to provide top-notch, professional classes in basketball, volleyball, badminton, pickle ball, dodgeball, and NERF soccer, wiffle ball, for boys and girls ages 6-14, year round and chess. The pyramid is also the new state-of-the-art facility for DreamTeam Academy’s fast-growing youth basketball program, which recently moved from its location at Scottsdale Airpark.
This summer, APEX Sports Camps are offering a day camp program on weekdays from June 7th to August 6th. Half days are from 8.30 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. and full days from 8.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. Aftercare is offered from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The campers are classified according to age and ability. For children who want to focus solely on basketball training, the DreamTeam Academy offers basic training and competitive play.
“We want parents to be sure that our high levels of instruction, safety standards and care will remain the same as we continue to enforce and follow our code of conduct and government-mandated Covid-19 safety protocols,” said Mimi Sommers, Owner of APEX Sports Camps and DreamTeam Academy. “Wearing face masks is at the discretion of parents, but we will monitor temperatures daily, disinfect all equipment, and wash hands abundantly throughout the day.”
