Phoenix Mercury is set to play in Seattle on May 8th preseason

The Phoenix Mercury will play a home game against WNBA defending champions Seattle on May 8th at the Phoenix Suns Arena.

Approximately 5,000 fans (removed and masked) will be admitted to this 3pm game and May’s regular season home games against Connecticut (May 21st) and Las Vegas (May 26th).

The Mercury will play an away game against the Storm on May 10 against the Storm before opening the regular season with 32 games on May 14 in Minnesota.

The Storm beat Las Vegas 3-0 in the 2020 WNBA final.

The Mercury training camp opens on Sunday with 12 out of 18 players.

Brittney Griner, Brianna Turner, Megan Walker, Kia Vaughn and Shey Peddy are late due to their overseas season and the quarantine required to return to Spanish U.S. Guard Marta Xargay is not here either.
