The DEA National RX Takeback will take place on Saturday, April 24th, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Clean your medicine cabinet, collect expired, unused, or unwanted prescription drugs and over-the-counter medications, and drop them off at Summit Healthcare, Show Low. Pinetop Lakeside, Snowflake, or Winslow Police, or Whiteriver, Heber-Overgaard Fire Services, or the Navajo County Sheriff’s Office.
The nationwide withdrawal of the Nexus Drug Prevention Coalition is being carried out in collaboration with local public institutions. The US Drug Enforcement Agency public is withdrawing events and providing the ability to return these dangerous items for proper destruction.
