Arizona Diamondbacks Hosting Family COVID-19 Inoculation Site

PHOENIX, AZ – The Arizona Diamondbacks are partnering with Arizona’s Blue Cross Blue Shield and the Arizona Department of Health to provide a COVID-19 vaccination center for families at Chase Field in downtown Phoenix in early June.

The event, which takes place on June 5, will allow participants over the age of 12 to operate the bases in the stadium, take a photo on the pitch and receive a free ticket to an upcoming D-Backs home game, the team said.

The free event, which runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., is open for walk-ins and appointments. The recordings are allocated according to availability.

“With the school year coming to an end and families still looking for a simple, comfortable and stress-free environment to vaccinate their family members, we want to reopen the doors to Chase Field,” said D-back’s President & CEO Derrick Hall in a Explanation. “We know this can be an overwhelming experience for some of our younger fans. We are proud to be working with ADHD and BCBS to create a family-friendly environment for vaccination.”

The D-Backs are also offering second doses on June 26th in Chase Field for anyone who gets a vaccine in early June.

To receive a free D-Backs home game ticket, entrants must receive both doses of the Pfizer vaccine, with tickets available for each weekday competition.
